This privacy policy explains which personal data amalficoast.boats processes, why, and what rights you have. The short version: the site has no user accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter and no advertising profiles. The data involved is limited to hosting server logs, the e-mails you choose to send us and the cookies that GetYourGuide's embedded widgets may set. This policy is dated.
1. Data controller
The controller is the amalficoast.boats editorial team, Campania, Italy. Contact: contactus@amalficoast.boats.
2. What data we process and why
Server logs
When you open a page, the hosting provider records the technical data needed to deliver it and keep the service secure: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, browser type and operating system. These logs serve security, fault diagnosis and aggregate statistics (page views), not the identification of individuals. They are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted.
E-mails you send us
If you write to contactus@amalficoast.boats we process your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, solely to answer you. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable time afterwards for reference, then deleted. We add you to no list and share your address with nobody.
GetYourGuide widgets and links
Tour pages embed GetYourGuide booking widgets, loaded from GetYourGuide's servers as iframes. When such a widget loads, GetYourGuide may set its own cookies and receives your IP address and technical data, as any third-party content does. Booking links carry an affiliate identifier that lets GetYourGuide attribute a booking to this site; we receive aggregate statistics on clicks and bookings, never personal data about you. GetYourGuide's processing is governed by its own privacy policy. Information pages, including this one, load no widgets.
3. Cookies
amalficoast.boats itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels. Third-party cookies can be set only by embedded GetYourGuide content, as described above. You can block or delete third-party cookies in your browser settings; the site stays fully readable, though the booking widgets may not display.
4. Analytics
The site currently uses no analytics service: no Google Analytics, no comparable tool. If we add a measurement tool in future, we will choose one that builds no individual profiles and describe it in this section.
5. Legal basis and retention
- Server logs: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the security and proper functioning of the site.
- E-mails: legitimate interest in answering your request, or steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Third-party cookies from GetYourGuide: GetYourGuide's own legal bases, as set out in its policy.
We keep data no longer than the purposes above require.
6. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format where applicable. To exercise these rights, write to contactus@amalficoast.boats; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or the authority of your country of residence.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Our own data (logs, e-mail) is processed within the European Union. GetYourGuide, based in Berlin, may transfer data outside the EU under the safeguards described in its policy.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we knowingly collect no data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Substantive changes will be noted on this page.
10. Contact
