Who they are, and what is left
This review is unlike the others, because its main subject is an absence. Amalfi on Boat's official website no longer exists: when we checked the HTTPS connection failed and the HTTP request returned a Namecheap parking page stating that the domain registration has expired. There is no price list, no fleet description and no booking form.
Two things remain consultable. The first is a TripAdvisor listing titled "Amalfi On Boat Charter", registered in Salerno, holding 55 reviews and an average of 4.7 out of 5. The second is a Facebook page,"Amalfi on Boat Charter | Salerno". We found no Instagram profile.
Even here there is a contradiction worth flagging: the TripAdvisor listing places the business in Salerno, while the descriptive text on the same listing says the company is "located in Naples". No street address appears anywhere. With the site offline the discrepancy cannot be resolved, so we report it as it stands.
One last warning about identity. Searching this name, one travel aggregator actually returns a listing for "Amalfi Boat Tour Srl", based in Maiori, which is a different company altogether. If you find recent, glowing reviews while searching for "Amalfi on Boat", check carefully who they are actually about.

Where they sailed from
Not precisely stated. In Salerno, tourist departures normally leave from the Molo Manfredi, where the Travelmar and Alilauro ferries to Amalfi and Positano also berth, or from the Piazza della Concordia area. Both are ten to fifteen minutes on foot from Salerno Centrale station, which makes the city a convenient starting point for anyone arriving by train or by cruise ship.
Our searches also surfaced licence-free rental listings from Salerno on excursion platforms, with 40 HP boats and a skipper available for an extra 100 euro. We could not confirm that the supplier behind those listings is Amalfi on Boat, and without that confirmation we do not attribute them to this operator.
The fleet
Not stated. The only material available is the reviews, which describe sailing boats with several cabins and a shower aboard, used for multi-day stays. That is consistent with an offering built around sailing holidays and the Boat & Breakfast format, but it tells you nothing about how many boats there were, how big they were, or what condition they were in.
Products and prices
From what can be reconstructed, the offer covered private boat tours along the Amalfi Coast, boat rental from Salerno, sailing holidays to Capri, Ischia, Sardinia and Sicily, and Boat & Breakfast stays with a night aboard.
On price the answer is blunt and worth stating plainly: there is no reachable price list at all. No rates on the site, because there is no site; booking shown as unavailable on TripAdvisor; no reseller carrying prices we could attribute to this operator with any confidence. We quote no figures because we have none that are verified, and inventing them would be worse than saying nothing.
Booking and cancellation
There is no confirmable booking channel. A search snippet of the former site cited a phone and WhatsApp number and an email address, but with the domain expired there is no way to verify that they are still live or that they belong to whoever might answer.
Cancellation terms are not stated anywhere.
What reviewers say
TripAdvisor shows 4.7 out of 5 from 55 reviews, ranked 16th of 86 boat tours and water sports in Salerno. But that figure has to be read alongside its dates: the overwhelming majority of the reviews are from 2018 and 2019.
The recurring positive themes: a warm welcome from owner Ambra and from Marco; successful multi-day sailing trips, especially with families; comfortable boats; good local knowledge and restaurant tips; swim stops in quiet coves.
The recurring negative themes — reported by the people who wrote them, not verified by us — are service that varied sharply between crews; language barriers, with some captains reportedly speaking little English while the owner is described as fluent in English and Spanish; promised extras such as snorkelling gear, meals and drinks not always supplied; trips cut short without compensation; and disputes over refunds. One serious injury incident is also reported. We have no basis for establishing what happened; we flag it because ignoring it would be dishonest, and we describe it for what it is — a single reviewer's account.
Swim stops in quiet coves were the most praised element in the historic reviews.

The comparison is not a fair fight here, because direct booking simply is not available. It is still worth naming what a platform gives you in exactly this situation: a supplier that is verified and currently trading, a price visible before you hand over any details, free cancellation up to 24 hours before on most products, reserve-now-pay-later, and a support line if the trip falls through.
