Who they are
Blu Mediterraneo s.a.s. works out of Salerno harbour with a fleet of nine gozzi. The founding year is not stated — the site's copyright says 2017, but TripAdvisor carries reviews from 2014 — so the business is older than its shop window. The registered office is in Vietri sul Mare, the operating base at Molo Manfredi.
Their market is clear: people in Salerno who want to see the Amalfi Coast from the water in a day. They are set up both for per-person small groups and for private whole-boat charters, and a substantial share of their customers come off the cruise ships that dock in the city.
The same operator also trades as cruiseamalficoast.com. It has nothing to do with Blu Alliance or BluSalina; a 2.6 score on trip.com rests on no reviews of its own and we treat it as meaningless.
Molo Manfredi is a short walk from the cruise berths, which is this operator's competitive advantage.
Where they leave from
Molo Manfredi, Pontili Elidiport, opposite the maritime station designed by Zaha Hadid. From Salerno railway station it is about twenty minutes on foot along Lungomare Trieste, or a few minutes by taxi. If you arrive by train from Naples or Rome you need neither a bus nor a ferry: this is probably the easiest boarding point to reach on the entire coast. The office is open from 07:00 to 19:00.
The fleet
Nine gozzi, all around nine metres and licensed for a maximum of twelve passengers. Ariel and AcquaMarina are Acquamarina 9s; Emy, Ivana, Angela, Marina and Di Luccia 9 are Di Luccia 30s, nine metres by three and a half, with a cabin and a toilet; My Queen and Giorgia are Fratelli Aprea 32s.
It is a uniform fleet, and that is a good thing: whichever boat you get, the day will feel much the same. The gozzo is also the right hull for this coast, riding the short afternoon chop better than a low open boat. The toilet on the Di Luccia boats matters on an eight-hour day.
Tours and prices
The prices come from the official website, and have the virtue of being published in full.
Small group, per person, maximum twelve passengers: Amalfi Coast EUR 140, Capri day EUR 175. Private, per boat: coast from EUR 1,100, Capri from EUR 1,400. There is also a winter offer, from 1 November to 31 March, at EUR 600 per boat from 10:00 to 15:00 — worth knowing if you visit out of season and find almost everything closed.
The price includes the skipper, fuel, prosecco, limoncello, water and snacks. The Capri day runs 09:00 to 17:00 with about three hours ashore; the coastal tour includes two one-hour stops, in Amalfi and Positano.

Booking and cancellation
You book from the "Book now" button on the site, by email to amalficoastblumediterraneo@gmail.com, or by phone and WhatsApp on +39 389 959 1601. The operator is also on GetYourGuide, on TripAdvisor and Viator, and on the Yumping portal. They work in Italian and English.
The direct terms are stricter than many expect: the deposit is returned only with five or more days' notice, while between one and four days before you recover nothing, and booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. If the company cancels for weather, it refunds. But if the skipper judges conditions safe and you are the one who pulls out, there is no refund — a legitimate clause, but read it in advance, especially if you travel with children or with someone prone to seasickness. The TripAdvisor product page, by contrast, applies a full refund up to 24 hours before.
What reviewers say
TripAdvisor showed 4.9 out of 5 from 795 reviews, seventh of 121 outdoor activities in Salerno; the product page for the shared Salerno-Capri tour showed 4.8 out of 5 from 55 reviews. On Facebook, according to the search snippet, 59 reviews with a 100% recommendation rate. We found no Google listing we could attribute with confidence.
The recurring praise: a friendly, attentive crew — the name Angela comes up often — an operation tuned to cruise timetables, several swim stops, clean boats with a toilet, good value, and drinks included.
The recurring criticism is nearly always the same: the stops in the towns feel short and rushed, precisely because the day is built around ships' all-aboard times. Anyone hoping to explore Amalfi or Positano properly comes away feeling they passed through at speed. These are patterns in public reviews read.
Booking direct or through GetYourGuide
The comparison is unusually clear-cut here, because both routes are genuinely open and the terms really do differ. Booking direct means talking to the office on the pontoon, being able to shape a private day and paying no commission — but the five-day rule applies to you.
Booking through a platform, most products carry free cancellation up to 24 hours before, the price is clear in euros, support answers in your language and you can often reserve now and pay later.
